I have a book found online coop on building your own chicken. I'm not sure if I come or just that buy one and assemble them. I have very little carpentry skills.

If money is a problem, it is cheaper a separate building. They are quite simple structures, if you are just building a small one. If you need more I would buy the place. Out ebay before You make your decision. You would be surprised by the offers that you might find there.

Another feature that is common in poultry houses will be on sale the automatic feeder. Some may be up to 50 pounds of food. It is still required to verify the amount of feed daily, but at least you know that feeding the chickens are even if you are late in the morning.

The water dispenser is of the utmost importance. Make sure that the water tank is easily accessible. The water dispenser should top the average Height of a chicken, because this animal can not swallow. Chickens, so that the water drain in the neck. chicken coop and run designs

November 12th, 2009

Has anyone a simple model of a chicken coop? they must be big enough for 12 chicken …?

this is my first attempt Chicken … I have 3 rhode Iceland Reds, 3 Ancona, 3 plymouth rock, and 3 white Leghorns. I plan on a big run for it, but I'm not sure I want to make a collaboration … do all the chickens have their own with a box? no blueprints or advice would be appreciated! Thank you!

Than former, long time, chicken and grain farmer, I would suggest my lawn, a wooden building, and alteration of the interior. No blueprints here, but your idea for a pattern could be similar to a pre-made. Yes, should they all have their own nest box, all from the ground, and probably either on a wall at two Levels or opposite walls. It is possible, the races will remain proximety. Would you like a cock? or 4? Or simply as a hobby to collect and gather eggs? The boxes can be 15 to 18 inches wide, with 18 or 20 cm long, with 8 or 10 cm deep, with nesting material, deep enough that the eggs do not roll or be kicked out. For any form of double row of boxes you would a pole for the upper level should be, and that any duplicate fields reinstated from the lower layer be such that adequate open space above the bottom row of chickens. It should be either a window for ambient light or electricity for lighting and some degree of warming of the coop in severe winters. It should include sufficient water sources. Feed should be kept apart, and in galvanized trash cans with a lid that can be securely fastened. The roof can be a single slope, with an overhang all around. The cooperation may be blocked on the pier, where a bar Floors / supported in the frame, and the interior with 2 x 4 to 24-inch centers. The ceiling heights, like a wooden frame is constructed house. The siding must not develop, also be suitable for T 111, all the wood should be treated. The roof can be shingled and structurally sound. The door way need not be much different than the rest of the structure. The run can be, chicken wire to fence posts, and I'll break up before 6 to 8 meters, perhaps even more than wired. It should always be water and food materials in advance Range. Steven Wolf Just my two "sense"
