Can I (should I) to build an enclosure around an existing chicken's nest in my garden?
There are about a dozen eggs under a hen in a bush in my Backyard. I'm pretty sure the eggs hatch, as we recently completed a successful hen's nest in our front yard. The front garden chicken left before I put them in a Could bring stable. I will keep backyard chickens and hens, and I am enclosing the area around the nest hatch after the chicks in wire mesh and planning. At this point I'm going to a coop that we transfer to the building. Most importantly, I'm risking the lives of either chicken or eggs, by the area (Approx. 36 sqm) in wire mesh? In addition, there is any tips on what needs the chicken once I have it fenced from the rest of the world (shade, temperature, food, Water, other)?
