I need tips?

when I go to the hen house I sometimes give my chicken fresh water, food, food scraps and pick them up and stroke and a host of other things, but for some reason one of the cocks comess and pecks me really hard in the back of the leg, so I bleed and then he flies on and digs its claws into my skin. Why he does this I do all I can to make you happy, but they are still really mean. I do not want to kill or get rid of them, but how do I make it stop hurting me?

Roosters are very aggressive and territorial. Your messing with his girl, and he tries to show you who's the boss. may help separate it from the chickens could.

Do you know what it takes to build a chicken coop? If you have ever built a chicken coop before, you will know that there are many more than four walls and a roof is. For those of you that are just starting out, there are some important things to note before beginning construction.

Why do not we do a look at some of this moment.

The chicken coop is one of the most important factors in raising happy and healthy chickens. Doing it right have a direct influence on the quantity of eggs, the chicks are able to produce. If you find your chickens are not all about eggs, one of the most important problems the size of your chicken coop.

The reason is that every chicken in your chicken house needs at least 3 square meters of living space. Of course more is always better, and if you have the space in your garden, you might want to build a bit larger.

If chickens are forced to live in a crowded house, they spend more time fighting room to lay than eggs. As you can see, the size of the chicken coop and the number of chickens think you are can be linked directly to one another. If you are only 12 square ft. of space in your garden, you can only comfortably raise 3-4 chickens. On the other hand, if A housing, which is a little bigger than you need is built, you always have the option to add another hen or two.

Now They have a pretty clear idea about the size of the hen house you can build let's cover one more aspect before we move to the shelter.

This is the kind of hen house you are planning to construct. The two types are fixed and portable.

Depending on where you live and how much space you have a fixed can not be an option. Here is a portable chicken coop comes in. These are usually smaller, lighter and more portable than their regular partners. They have several advantages, including the ability to easily clean, but they are also easier to maintain.

The reason for this is that you do not need to get your tools to promote cooperation to take, but you get the cooperation in any location you desire. This makes the implementation to facilitate the frequent maintenance work, plus you do not to earn your chickens living room is dirty or wet when it comes time to clean.

There are also some disadvantages to build a mobile chicken coop the main one being that they are not nearly as durable as the corrected version. This means that after several seasons, you will probably have to build a replacement.

On the other hand, a solid henhouse, if done properly, is very durable and will last normally for many years. But make sure you to build a place that you will be happy with. As their name suggests, fixed chicken coops are firmly anchored in the ground. If you break any reason and to shift , you must have your work cut out for you.

Of course, you still have this type of chicken house like any other, but it's more of a seasonal Task as one that must be filled maintained every few months.

Now that we are different types of barns to create, we can cover still an important factor in the fall protection.

Protection is one of the most important things you need to think about when you build a chicken coop. Hens have predators to attract a magical way, they can occur in many forms. Some of these would never suspect, while others underestimate you their determination.

The neighborhood dogs and cats are probably not hurt a fly, chickens on the other side of fair play. While these two Types to love animals are not necessarily a big threat, you will definitely think about it, keep it from your poultry.

Some of the other more dangerous predators can come in the form of foxes, coyotes, badgers and rats. While the likelihood of these predators, depending on where you are; protection can never hurt your feathered friends.

The process in which strong and durable fencing to enclose your run. Another good idea is to anchor, the fence a foot or so into the ground. As you can imagine, many of these predators extraordinary excavators. Ff you get one of those determined diggers, a buried Fence only discouragement can be done to keep.

Once you have a Coop that good for your chickens is the hard part of the project is built over. Now you can really sit back and enjoy the fresh eggs you desire been.

As you can imagine, these are just a couple of the things you need to think about when you begin to build your first chicken coop. Sign up on my website and receive a free mini course and report.

I just do not like the color, but when I paint this cooperation I will a different color! anyway do you like this together? Can you give me some pros and cons? Also, on average, as much do you think ill cost to build it? there is a link to it, the person who created it but it says email not found page. Looks pretty good. It's up to you. They should ensure that there is no easy way out so that your chickens do not run loose (unless you have a fence around it). Most poultry houses vary up to 800 $, or atleast I did. looks like it could fit maybe 8. Steel Reinforced helped this your problem. :)
