chicken coop litter
Farming systems ???????????????????

The barn that I keep the chickens is a cement floor. If I do deep litter Method it is possible for them in order, on / in? Yes, we will ensure that the barn is really sure until we get it. and we do not want to go and Barn building, because we already have such a beautiful barn. They are outside most of the day anyway (free range). Any other tips for keeping systems is great too! I am new in possession of chickens. Thanks

About poster is correct, you do not have to put down throw, but I would recommend it. If you chicken you'll have to keep a mess, and believe me, the chaos is spreading better. And your chicken, you will not have to thank once again on a cold concrete floor in winter on foot. You can use the sand method, sand dumped on the floor. Picking out of the hut, if necessary, and the change in the sand, perhaps every half year or the Year, whenever you change it needs. You can use sawdust. Do not use cedar, as it is poisonous. The lower the litter, generally no more I found it to last. You can use straw, but it keeps mites and is not so easy to clean. You can use leaves, I know where I live, they are plentiful exist, and I do so the benefit. You can use dirt, use it like sand. If, however, a stable floods then you need to have a swamp care while sand-drain 'is better. Not settling for something on the ground, it will be difficult in the end. There's nothing like trying to scratch the surface of poop. The dust, and if it's winter, you need a chisel. Make life easier and just shovel it with sawdust, or anything like that. Only a few more tips for a chicken from the owner. Nesting boxes, you must once and for all five chickens. You do not have standard nest boxes, you can be creative. My Favorite Chicken is a cat litter box. lol. I also have some by cutting bucket, or one after the other boxes I have from scrap wood. Roosters-you intend to keep a rooster. If yes, it is suggested that you should have a boys per girl 6-8 (big chicken) or 10-15 girls (dwarf)-chickens. You do not need a rooster for eggs, Only if you want to hatch them. There are eggs, brown, white, green, blue, cream, and so on egg-layer. There is no difference between the egg-eating types. Indeed with a colorful carton of eggs, herd, and fun. There are large-breed chickens, and Pygmy breeds breeds that are smaller. Bantams can make fun (silk chickens are very popular), but be aware that they are the perfect dinner choice for the Falcons. Large birds are also more productive. Mediterranean breeds / lighter birds are generally hyper. Broodyness-If you want your hen chicks hatch, make sure it is a race that broods. Check out http://www.ithaca.edu/staff/jhenderson/chooks/chooks.html for information. And http://www.feathersite.com/Poultry/BRKPoultryPage.html # chickens for pictures. Feed – I feed my birds to scratch, and egg-laying pellets. They are also free-range, and seem to have long healthy life. Some people differently on the feeding methods. I suggest feeding twice daily, once in the morning and once at night (If you decide to a feeder, eating the whole day) It is very important that they go to bed on a full as this will help stomich Pick keep warm. a bird for your climate, they will live longer and happier. If you are on a very hot place to live stay away from densely feathered birds like Cochins and Orpington, and get Leghorns, Hamburgs, or something that the warm weather well made, and the deputy versia. Good luck, and if you have questions and do not mind an essay lol, please contact me via e-mail, contact Jamie Rhode Runner

chicken coop toys
What could occupy a chicken toys?

My flock of 7 is not always in the yard a lot this winter, and I'm worried about leaving them "trapped" throughout the day. They have a six-meter-long run, but I want to live it an interesting place for them when I can. I do not think that any place which Toys for chickens sold … I'm probably crazy to even think of it. But it must be something I do for them, the conversation is during the long Days offer of cooperation. Can you imagine that?

I was thinking about this ball like toy that you can fill with treats, and they fall out, if just be postponed. What I did was chicken with my grandfather to hang on a few dandelions (or other desirable food), it is just out of reach and leave they do not jump. It is amusing to observe, they keep you busy and fit:) I dont think you are crazy, because I consider it quite possible that chickens bored.

Einstein once said that if the bees die, we would die in three years. Well, the bees are now almost disappeared, and that a sentence is scary indeed. Surely you've heard of problems with Bee Hive Colonies Collapsing. On the contrary, this larva virus since a while for over 15 years and the last decade there has always so important.

The bees are not the only species in trouble, for example, issues we see with the lobster from Maine, where their body armor with questions. This is most likely manmade pollution run-off, not good. The bees are 15 billion U.S. dollars per year in pollination of crops, although this estimate appears to be low, said a member of the online think tank.

What is killing all the bees, is that the African bees move in predatory and killing of American Honey Bees? The African Bee question, I would say just by observation and logic that the answer is NO. Since the African bees were Mexico and there are many bees in S. Texas and Southern California, AZ. So perhaps the opposite could be saved, brings in the African bees. Or, perhaps The Hurricanes allowed many of the bees to move much faster from Central America in the Midwest and Northeast?

We must resolve this problem without any others, is the ecosystem and food chain, adaptable, but not directly on a time scale. So if it's too soon to break down, the chain is broken and people should never forget they are a part of it. One thing that concerns me is the "Bio – cleaners prepared" to kill single-cell organisms and bacteria. They sell the stuff on windshields of cars, concrete, chicken coops, stables, cleaning, etc.

The bee is an engineering – miracle of aerodynamics, Shell and sensors to bottom. His ability to work in a team and Swarms is fascinating, but the larvae are vulnerable to foreign things that do not designed to ward off, it does not mean it can not, it is just going to take to her some time, but they are out of time.

Since there are problems with vibration energy and frequency of waves at the lower end of the spectrum and the electromagnetic energy of human power lines, think of all the phones and how? What if we Faraday cage houses built around the hives and see if they are not better, that is an idea to test such a theory and see if this is the problem.

Solar flares could also a problem? Perhaps a thick atmosphere, it could support? Maybe the cloudy days along the coast are to assist in this Ways, and they flourish there, but not elsewhere? Without knowing the exact cause, such as pollution, pesticides, solar flares, or vibrational energy pollution then we can not help our own species, the bees.

We need to figure out what hurt her immune system so that kill the virus to their larvae. Butterflies and raise bees for crop yields 30-60%, depending on the type of culture. If we lose the income and are busy developing our own fuel, could then have the people from the future to decide, we do eat, or we can drive; ethanol VS food debate. Low yields due to low Pollination is a critical issue.

I have a rabbit that is 2 / 3 years old. It was months before about 6 / 7. He lives in a large stable and running, what http://www.nickhodge.co.uk/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/chicken-coop.jpg a rain / wind cover over it all has. He has also straw, sawdust, straw, etc. http://www.thepetextraordinarium.co.uk/assets/hires/rabbed.jpg in his stall, and a bed I ask myself, he'll be okay to leave him at temperatures of around 2-3c? Or should I take him?

yes u should put the rabbit in your house, maybe in the garage because it is too cold they remain outside.
